1. Where has Sade been? She left a long time ago. I love her music. Now she's back and I can't wait. I have a crush on Sade and her huge forehead. I love you SADE!!!!!  Marry me Sade!  Oh, I forgot, we are both already married. 

2. How can the Steelers win the Super Bowl one year and not make the playoffs the next?  Someone, please explain this to me.  At least the Cowgirls lost!

3. What's going on with music today? I really think I could make up a better line than, "You can call me Flintstone; I can make your bed rock."

4. Why am I singing that song in public?  Help, me please.

5. Why is my 7 year old enjoying Lady Gaga's music? It's not my fault. I had no idea who she was until recently. I'm old I guess. She is watching the Paparazzi video for the 100th time. At least.

6. Why do doctors cost so much? Amaya's benefits papers have been coming in, and 30 minutes of work costs $500 or more for an anesthesiologist?  That's a lot of money for 30 minutes.  That's $1000 an hour!  Now that's a paycheck!

7. Why do I listen to so much music from the 80s and 90s?

8. Why did it take so long for people to care about Haiti? It’s not like they just started being poor. I guess if they had oil or diamonds people would have been there sooner.

9. Now my daughter is watching the “Bad Romance” video. Who was the jerk that created ON Demand? Really, come on now. How many times do I have to listen to that song!

10. Why do people think women’s basketball is not exciting? No they don’t dunk, but it is a lot of fun.  The UCONN women could come close to beating the New Jersey Nets!

11. How long before UVA finds out that they aren’t that good in hoops? Or before they find out that they are really good this season?

14. What has happened to the NBA? I know they are the best basketball players in the world, but I just don’t enjoy it as much anymore.

15. When will the economy turn around? And please republicans don’t say when Obama leaves. This isn’t his entire fault. And believe me, I’m not a democrat or a republican.

19. How come concerts cost so much? Yes, I would love to go see Jay Z in concert. But not for 50 dollars! That’s 2 packs of diapers!

20. How come it costs $20 dollars to go to the movies?

21. Why was the Princess and the Frog kind of scary? Not a bad movie, but it was creepy.

21.5 What took Disney so long to make a movie with an African-American girl as the lead? They had a man in the White House before Disney put one in a movie. And I love Disney.

22. Why did it take me so long to write another blog? Not sure. Busy I guess. Amaya’s 30 days of radiation, holidays, work, and all kinds of other stuff.

23. When did movies get so bad? There are some really horrible movies being made. Next week, Saw 35 starring Rodney Allen Rippey and Michael from Good Times.

27. I love Pandora Radio. It’s awesome except for the annoying ads everyone once in a while. You can listen to virtually anything. I’m listening to Enya right now. Yes, I said Enya. She rocks!

28. Is Avatar really that cool? Or are people just saying it’s cool so the director can make some of his money back? Hopefully, he gives some of that to cancer research. That would be nice.

30. The HRA vs. NSA girls basketball game was yesterday. The back of the HRA shirts said “We Heart Amaya.” It had an actual heart not the word. I wanted to cry when I first saw them. I didn’t since I was at work. I try not to cry in front of middle schoolers. That would not turn out well. My friend Laura and her family, Loopy, Ty, and Ellie are amazing. The basketball team is amazing as well.

38. Jan. 21st is my birthday. I’m 40. I didn’t think I would be where I am at 40, but that’s A GREAT THING. I will not complain. I have great family and friends so whining will not occur.
