It’s been a long time….sorry for that to my 2 fans….I’m going to talk about bad movies and good movies, but mostly bad movies. Here is a list of some of the worse:
Battlefield Earth – I can’t bring myself to watch this again to see if it was really that bad. Come on Travolta!!! The second Saturday Night Fever wasn't enough!! And to think I had a Vinny Barbarino doll growing up! Oops, I mean action figure, not doll.
Waterworld/The Postman – Field of Dreams, Mr. Brooks, and Dances with Wolves cannot help Costner get over these 2 horribly terrible flicks. I can watch the same movie over and over. But not these two. What was he thinking when he made these movies? That money could have been used for a good cause. Like toturing the person who wrote the scripts.
Bad Lieutenant 2 – Nicholas Cage should give any money that he made back for this terrible thing. I can’t get my 30 minutes back.
Girl 6 – So bad that I haven’t even seen it…..and I like Spike Lee.
Rocky (5 and up) – They were reaching with Mr. T. and Dolph Lundgren for sure, but at least they were watchable. Sly really needed money? Go on Dancing with the Stars or something.
Friday the 13th (4 and up), Halloween (3 and up), Nightmare on Elm Street (2 and up), Leprechaun (2 and up), Childs Play (2 and up) Hellraiser (2 and up) - All of these movies have something in common…they had pretty good first movies. Then as they went on they became worse. And pretty dumb. Leprechaun in the hood has to be one of the cheesiest movies ever made. Not sure why I watched it. Chucky followed the little boy to military school? Jason & Michael Myers keep coming back? The first hellraiser scared me...after that pure junk.
Epic Movie/Date Movie/Disaster Movie – After 15 minutes I was wondering why I was watching these movies. Just because I heard they were funny. Maybe in parts, but not all the way through the 15 minutes I saw. I like funny/dumb movie franchises, i.e. Naked Gun, Airplane, Hot Shots, Police Academy, and others. They were funny and dumb at the same time. National Lampoons Gold Diggers is just plain stupid.
Transmorphers – Wow. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0960835/ It’s not bad enough that the acting is worst than I’ve ever seen, but the graphics are despicable. I got caught up in the fact that it was sooooo bad. I couldn’t take my eyes off it…It was absolutely horrible. I may watch it again just to see if it was really that bad. There are two of these...Bruce Boxleitner is in the second one.
Breakin’/Breakin 2- Back when these movies came out in the ‘80s they were the greatest thing that I ever saw. Now that I watch them...boy they were bad. The acting was subpar, but the dancing is still awesome. Van Damme is in the intro. The Kelly girl was terrible dancing and acting. Go Boogaloo Shrimp!!! I'll have more later.
