For years, I thought the itis was something that only African Americans knew about. I was so wrong. It happens to everyone. It doesn’t matter what race, creed, color or religion, the itis strikes you on Thanksgiving if you eat too much. I ate too much, but I only had to take a 15 minute nap which is a record for me. Usually it is a very long nap. Then I had to watch 2 of the worst football games in the history of the world. My father-in-law and nephew wanted to watch the NFL games. I wanted to watch basketball. The Lions would lose to Tim Tebow and Florida. The Raiders are terrible too. They would get beat by ODU. And ODU is a first year team. I think they should take the last 4 teams in the NFL and let them play in the Pooper Bowl. It would be fun to see a team win 3 to 0 in 4 OT’s. It could be sponsored by Charmin. I did get to watch a lot of good college games though. Auburn almost upset Alabama, Arizona won in a tight one versus Arizona State, and the WVU Mountaineers upset Pittsburgh! That’s payback Panthers! I’m watching Kansas play Missouri right now. It’s close too. I love college sports. Go Syracuse hoops! We had to get up early Black Friday, but not to go shopping. It was Amaya’s radiation treatment. I’m glad I didn’t go shopping since it was raining and lighting. That would not have been fun. Maybe next year I’ll stand in line for hours for that 78 inch TV and 2.95 DVD players. Most likely it will be the newest Barbie doll. I like the holiday time.  You get to see family and just enjoy being with them most of the time.  If you live out of town its even better since you can be in town for a couple days and then leave.  No one can drive you crazy then for the most part.  If they do, you can just leave and not come back until next holiday.  Or you can stay away forever.  Since you live out of town its your choice.  I like BBQ turkey, turkey souffle, turkey pot pie, turkey pasta, turkey panini, turkey sub, turkey salad, turkey salsa, turkey samich, turkey ice cream, fried turkey, baked turkey, minced turkey, turkey spaghetti, buffalo turkey, .....
How come rich people get to tell the police what they are going to do? If I wrecked my car, I would be taken downtown in a paddy wagon. Tiger Woods gets to tell the cops that he wants to wait to talk to them. That’s not fair to me. I may need to get my story straight, so I should be able to talk when I feel like it as well.  That guy for LSU is really, really fast.   Why does everyone think Lady Gaga is a good singer?  Not only does she scare me, her songs are not very good either.  Give me some Leesha Keys anyime. 
It’s cold in Virginia now. Too cold. I knew I should have moved further south. Like Venezuela or someplace like that. I’m not sure if they have winter or not, but it can’t be this stinking cold. Wow a safety. That’s crazy. Oops, sorry, I was watching the Kansas-Missouri game. Maybe they should fire that coach. Why not run the ball 3 times? Why pass out the end zone with that much time left? I grew up in West Virginia, but I haven’t lived there in a while so I really don’t like the cold that much. I do remember walking miles and miles in the cold weather around Weirton. Now I hate walking from my car into work. It’s not very far either. Our Christmas tree is going up. Pretty soon, I’ll have to put some lights up or something like that outside. As long as I don’t have to be the Griswold’s, it will be ok. I need to say that since my wife may read this sometimes.  That's wishful thinking though.  I think I'm the only person that reads this blog.  It's alright since I pretty much do it for me anyway.  Tonight I get to watch more good games! Notre Dame loses again, and Georgia Tech will run my favorite offense of all time! The option is awesome. When we used to play pickup football, I always wanted to run the option. Not sure why, but it was my favorite. Tim Tebow is a great guy. And it’s not just because of football. He is so strong in is faith. You don’t see that in a lot of athletes today. It’s really refreshing to see that. Don’t care if he never plays in the NFL, either. Awesome young man and role model.  I hope I can raise my son to be as fine a young man as Mr. Tebow.
