Man I'm tired!  NO I don't want to watch Breakin' again!  Can't a brotha get some sleep!

Life has been pretty boring lately. Which is a good thing most times. Amaya's next MRI is October 12th.  Until then, its no bungee jumping or go cart racing. We had to get another motor for our septic system. This is the 3rd one we've had since the move to the house. It's crazy that we have to keep getting them. Crazy! I said we should have gotten an outhouse, but Mrs. Sims said no. It would have been cheaper. How about a porta potty?

Work has been going well. I've been doing different things trying to keep it interesting.  It has its ups and downs like every job so we'll see how it goes this year. Kai is cranky when he's tired. I'm not sure where he gets that from. It's certainly not me. Maybe his mommy.  Ok, if you know me, I'm the one that's cranky most of the time.  It is true.  I'm not always this happy and jolly.

That commercial with Adrian Peterson and the lizard like skin really, creeps me out. It gives me chills when I see it. For real. Beyonce was cool about the whole VMA incident.  I may have to start rocking her CD. Yes, it was a great video, but the guy in the YouTube video did work! You know what, I'll put Beyonce on my album! She can be on my hit, "If you want me to grade it, you shoulda put your name on it!" (of course with the ring on it beat) I'll put that guy on the YouTube video on stage with me at my concerts! I did watch the Jay-Z concert on Fuse. I enjoyed it. He has so many hit songs.  It is unbelievable. 

My favorite part was when Mary J. Blige got on stage.  We went to see her in concert a couple years back.  She is always great.  Where's DMX? And what about his show?
I had a great Saturday of watching college football! WVU won, Notre Dame, Tennessee, and Ohio State all lost! That was awesome!

My fantasy team only had 1 major injury! That is so far, so it could get worse. The kids seem to be getting into the groove at school. Amaya doesn't sleep well some nights. Our friend told me it could be the chemo since she doesn't sleep very well either.  Hopefully, it improves.

Now its great. His haircut, is not so great. I had a shag at one time. Please, keep that a secret. I do have this CD and its actually pretty good. Tonio told me to buy it. He was right. It wasn't bad at all. Surprisingly.
It's not that I don't like today's music. I just don't think a lot of it has staying power. Some of it will be around a long time. Frankie Beverly, James Brown, and the Beatles still sound good today. No one can tell me that when they hear "Before I let go" that they don't want to dance!
I could buy a tape back then and not fast forward at all. I buy a CD now and I'm skipping to find my 3 favorite songs. Sometimes I get lucky and the whole CD is good. I guess it's just different now.
We had a busy weekend. Really busy. We went to Bridgewater to see Brenda's nephew play football. It was very hot. I thought the mountains were supposed to cold. They weren't cold at all. Boy did I sweat a lot. I think my tan is 5 shades darker than before, and I'm not joking. The bad part about my tan is that my upper arms and legs are not very dark. So the transition from shorts to speedos is not very attractive. Amaya and Kai were only out there a little while since it was sooooo warm. We didn't want them to be too uncomfortable. If you are ever in Harrisonburg Virginia, go to the Wood Grill. It is a buffet style restaurant with very, very good food. I really enjoy that place. Bridgewater beat Averett by a couple touchdowns. Dominic got in for a few plays.
We went to Water Country as well. It was the last day of the year for them to be open. It was overcast and gray. A lot of people didn't show up. Kai put his feet in the water. He seemed OK with that. Candy was 50% off. That was a great thing!
It is official. The Pittsburgh Pirates are the worst franchise in the history of the world. It pains me to say they stink. Really, really stink. NO winning seasons in 17 years. That is a LONG time. I blame it on Barry Bonds. Since so many people hate him, I'll blame him. Not sure why, but he sounds like as good a scapegoat as anyone else.
My wife laughs at me when I tell her about my dreams of becoming a dope MC. I keep telling her "I spit hot FIYAH!" She won't be laughing when I'm driving around in my pimped out mini van! I'm gonna get rims, and a booming system in a Dodge Caravan! It's gonna have shiny lime paint on there too. My posse is going to all be over 60. I can't get in trouble hanging with them after concerts. They'll want to go to bed at 10pm. See ya later!

Kai had some shots earlier in the week. He was not happy. At all. The nurse gave him some medicine to drink, and then stuck him three times. The picture is above. I told him to suck it up and he told me, "I know you're not talking to me, Mr. I look away when I see a needle!"

That hurt my feelings. Unfortunately, it is true though. The other babies tried to warn him. Amaya tried to warn him. He was still upset and not ready for the inhumanity of it all.

Work has been good the first few days. No complaints. I do miss my 2 naps during the day.

I don't get those at school I do during the summer. Tonight I went to the CHKD father's group get together. It was at Harbor Park to see the Tides. The Tides were winning when I left the game. I was in the Stihl blower contest. I lost, but it was fun. RipTide took his head off. He was very funny. I will leave it at that.

How many kids can the Duggars have? over/under is 25.

Jay-Z has his 11th album coming out next week. He is older than me. It's not too late for me to get that record deal. I already have song names. One of them is called 3am diaper change, here is a snippet. If you don't like it, its OK. Because when I get Kanye West to produce and have Keisha Cole's mom sing the hook along with Lil Wayne, it'll be #1. With a bullet!
